Define the action you want

Decide whether people should sample, register, scan, buy, ask a question or remember a message. The required action determines the counter, shelter, signage and queue arrangement.

Map approach, interaction and exit

Use tall or moving displays for approach visibility, a clear branded point for the interaction and simple directional messaging where visitors leave or collect something.

Confirm the operating environment

Record indoor or outdoor use, surface type, wind exposure, power access, setup time, storage and transport. Outdoor systems may require bases, weights and venue approval.

Plan the team workspace

Allow room for staff, stock, equipment and personal items. A setup can look professional from the front while still working efficiently behind the counter.

Prepare artwork as one system

Choose the primary message and viewing angles first. Coordinate colours, logos and calls to action across the gazebo, flags, backdrop and counter rather than designing each piece independently.
